A little bit about myself
Hi I’m Joelle
I'm a graphic designer and communications professional with a Master's in Marketing and Digital Communications. My background started in design, but I quickly realized I liked being involved in the bigger picture too. I like figuring out what something is trying to say, who it's for and how to make it actually connect.
I work across design, branding, web, social media, email and communications, and I tend to get especially excited about projects where I can bring all of those things together.
My Education
I hold a Master’s degree in Marketing and Digital Communications from Falmouth University in the United Kingdom.
My studies deepened my understanding of consumer behaviour, digital strategy, and the power of dynamic brands. This background supports the creative decisions I make and keeps my work grounded in strategy.

I have over five years of experience working across marketing, design, and communications.

I thrive on projects that blend strategy and creativity, where I can build systems that are visually consistent and also drive results.
Outside of Work
When I'm not working, I'm usually trying to keep myself busy in one way or another.
I do aerial hoop, which has become a fun way to stay active. I also have three rescue cats who have somehow made themselves the centre of the household. They're very cute, completely spoiled and excellent at getting in the way when I'm trying to do anything.
When Alberta finally decides it's summer, I'm happiest spending the day at the lake, wake surfing. I love being outside, finding somewhere to swim and making the most of the short stretch of warm weather we get here.
